  MCPL Annual Gingerbread Contest

Each year starting in November, the library transforms into a wonderland of magical creations. Anyone and Everyone can participate. Here are a few guidelines:

  • There are no size restrictions. However, if your creation needs big space, please let us know before you drop off.
  • Creations can be made from scratch or from a kit. The core of your design must be made of edible candy, cake, and such.
  • You can be an individual, a group, or a pair entry. Please let the librarian know which category you want to be registered under.
  • Do not leave your project without giving contact info to the librarian.
  • Please adhere to all dates for drop off & pickup.
  • All categories will receive prizes, but ultimately the goal is to share your inner gingerbread artist with our community.
  • Entry into the contest gives the library permission to use pictures of your creation in the media.
